Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

1. What This Covers

This policy explains what personal data Intercontinental Music collects when you buy music, submit music as an artist, or otherwise use intercontinentalmusic.com, and what we do with it.

2. Data We Collect

Buyers: your email address, name, and — for physical orders — shipping address, all collected during checkout by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Artists: the name, email, country, biography, social links, and music/photo/document files you provide when submitting your music, plus login credentials (stored as a securely hashed password, never in plain text) if your submission is approved.

Everyone: basic technical data generated by using the site, such as pages visited and error logs, used only to keep the platform running and secure.

3. How We Use It

To process orders and deliver downloads or ship physical goods; to review artist submissions and run the artist portal; to pay artists via Stripe Connect and, where legally required, to report seller income to tax authorities; to detect fraud, abuse, and copyright issues in submitted files; and to respond to support requests.

4. Who We Share It With

Stripe processes all payments and payouts, and holds buyer and artist financial information under its own privacy policy.

Cloudflare stores uploaded and purchased media files on our behalf.

VirusTotal may check a fingerprint (hash) of submitted files against known malware — we do not send them the file itself, only its fingerprint.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the platform, our artists, or our users.

5. International Transfers

Because this platform serves artists and buyers across multiple countries, your data may be processed in a country other than your own, including by the service providers listed above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep order and payout records for as long as needed to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Rejected artist submissions and their uploaded files are deleted after a reasonable review period. You can ask us to delete other personal data we hold about you, subject to what we're legally required to keep.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep artists and admins signed in to their portal accounts. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Children

This platform is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

11. Contact
